So a crummy team in the former Pac-12 got 7 OL commits in 7 days. I'm starting to wonder if UF coaches got the memo that the dead period is over?
I could be and probably will be wrong, but I don’t think we’re going to be “aggressive” in the portal for OL. I kinda think they gonna roll with what we have and bringing in with the HS recruits. We haven’t seen one OL hit the portal and only Kingsley is leaving. Not enough spots w/o attrition
I'm surprised that more OL have not been "invited" to enter the portal. I think our OL play next year will look very similar to this year without upgrades at OT.
I agree with @willymayshayes, we have to settle the OT position to be able to move George inside and we desperately need depth. If we have the OT's to roll with in 2024, I sure wonder why were they standing on the sidelines in 2023.
The OL is by far the biggest deficiency on the roster, imho. Billy needs to be very aggressive with the OL coaches, with his foot. The 2 OL coaches make a combined $1.5mil. Take that and go poach the best OL coach in the country, not one makes that much, he’ll jump at it. Maybe Billy is playing the signing day ruse, we shall see, it’s not like those 2 have recruited much though.
