    The 6-3 Gators face the 6-4 East Carolina Pirates on Thursday, Dec 14 at 7:00pm. The game will be hosted at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland and broadcast on SECn. ECU has faced one SEC team, losing by six to SC last Saturday. Pick the score, the Most Valuable Gator (MVG), and the Stat of the Game (SoG). For this contest, SoG will be Rebounding differential. The Gators average seven more rebounds/game than the Pirates. We have outrebounded a few teams by 20+ this year.

    MVG Handlogten but probably won't show up in the metric. It will be somebody else but his defensive rebounding I hope will be HUGE. East Carolina is a very good offensive rebounding team and my hope is that he will shut that down. Defensive rebounding will be a key element if the Gators want a comfortable W.

    The Pirates are looking to upset the Gators, so Riley and all the guards let’s play focused on hitting open shots, when driving if contested assist your teammates or shoot an early 2 pointer.
    This team is solid and are going to give us trouble.
    Let’s rebound and play good defense and no lazy passes. Let’s show Lakeland that we have the home grown guys that are looking to make a name for themselves and make those fans Proud.
