All these people complaining about Harris probably couldn't name a single DB coach at any program in the country.

Georgia hired some DB coach named Fran Brown a couple years ago. A guy from Temple and Rutgers is the best they could get? His resume was so unimpressive, there's no way he'll amount to anything.....

 

Wouldn't you say that about any coach that was hired.. Unless you had inside knowledge of all the universe of available coaches, how would any of us know who was 'best' or 2nd best or any other ranking.

I have lots of cool nieces and nephews on the wife's side, from what I've picked up it's slang for old guy.

 

To be fair that's probably a very good thing. Football is fun to watch but as a real adult it's not really worth getting invested in, and who the DB coach is has zero impact on anyone's lives outside the program.

Also throw me in the trusting but wary group. A couple good years at Washington and a bunch of mediocre years could be bad, or could turn out great. It's definitely not an impressive resume but it's not anemic. The guy is going to have to prove that Washington was the norm but I think it's possible. BN makes his living analyzing these decisions so I trust that.
