Probably another reason Biden felt emboldened.
He's been profiting from his legislative position for decades.
Too bad Joe wasn't quarantined into one of Cuomo's elderly homes during COVID.

They teach basic US civics in elementary school. I think my kids learned we elect a POTUS every 4 years by the time they were in 2nd grade. You're telling me leaders of the Chinese government are less informed than the average 8-year old child?

But you didn't answer the question. Why did the Chinese only give money to Joe when he was an average citizen? Why no payments while he was VPOTUS or currently POTUS? Certainly, the average Chinese business man would know a VP or President would carry a lot more weight than someone holding no office. Yet, zero evidence Biden received a dime from the Chinese while in office.

    Use your brain Cypress.
Joe was involved in a Pay for Play scheme with foreign interests.

what’s the “play” part of this equation? What did the Chinese buy from Joe?

For $40,000 lol. I just can’t. Too stupid of a conversation to continue.

Is the Chinese government sending fentanyl chemicals to Mexico or just their enterprising citizens?
Hunter and James were selling the access, Joe and his criminal family were profiting from it.

That rationale would have same validity if the Chinese tried to get Joe Biden through Hunter and James while Joe Biden was still in office and even if they were effectively conned by Hunter and James to believe that they could influence Joe there is still no substantive evidence that they actually did buy influence. What the so called evidence does reveal is that James and Hunter successfully conned the Chinese businessman by convincing him that they could influence Joe.

I think a movie has already been made about this. It's called The China Syndrome.

If the Chinese paid Joe for this access, they got zero ROI, because this past October, the US announced its biggest, sweeping announcement against Chinese companies suppling chemicals for fentanyl in Mexico. The opioid crisis really started to spike around 2015, and continued to grow exponentially while Trump was in office. If Chinese business leaders had the smarts of the average 8-year old American child, they would have known paying a past VPOTUS wouldn't get them anything. But bribing the current POTUS might.

So again, why no evidence of Chinese payments while Joe had actual power? And non while Joe did and still does?

My first and last sentences are not connected together..
....they addressed different points in your above paragraph.
I wasn't implying the Biden's had any influence on fentanyl exports.

Still refusing to answer why zero evidence of payments when Joe had actual power.

And maybe you should review the basic rules of paragraph structures and grammar?

I wonder if these billionaire morons are giving money to Dan Quayle for nothing in return as well. Makes sense!

Since you mentioned fentanyl and while it maybe off-topic for this thread it seems like Old Joe is doing more to address the fentanyl problem than his predecessor has ever done.

And it shouldn't be. Repayment of a loan is not taxable income and therefore wouldn't be included in his tax returns.

The repayment of a loan isn’t taxable income. I don’t understand something. You’re a good poster on the basketball boards. Why are so many of your posts on here moronic? Feel free to block me, by the way. I am not blocking you this time, because I am interested in your basketball posts.

Hmm. Is it possible that watching too much basketball can make you moronic? I don't know why it would, but I'm glad I'm not a big fan (except when the Gators are playing, even then I don't understand the rules, it seems like almost everything is a foul).
