Any new info on a new DL coach?

All kids of losers root for other teams.

 

FTR, other "fans" can of course speak for themselves. But I'm solid to the Gators, no matter what. This is not the first trough I've been through with them, and it probably won't be the last. Obviously, not everyone is in it for the long haul. For some poor souls, I fear the strain is just too much to bear and they eventually fall away. Personally, I don't concern myself much with the ruminations of sunshine patriots or CFB team-jumpers. Summer soldiers don't impress me much either.

 

As I told fsu fans in 1979 when they beat us and finished the regular season undefeated: "I'd rather be an 0-10-1 Gator than an 11-0 seminole." They got theirs when Oklahoma punished them in the Orange Bowl.

 

No. Apparently, we brought in the Pitt guy, but didn’t offer. The A&M guy accepted, then took another job. So here we are still vetting and interviewing

 

I was hoping we were waiting on an NFL coach.

 

Not sure about that. There may be NFL guys and guys on playoff teams that will become available if we are patient. We got our DC, we just looking for a position coach so it can wait a bit to get a good one IMO.

 

I’m sure there are some we are eying.

It is, but we may miss out on a few croots, but to get a better developer on the field may produce better results. We have young talent that needs developing.

 

Didn’t mean me. Meant lizard… and was kidding. Been a diehard Gator since ‘80.

 

I expect us to promote a GA or one of the many on the evaluation staff

 

Since 1980 eh? Meh. I checked in about 1960 or so. FTR, I will not be switching teams anytime soon - awkward jokes to the contrary notwithstanding.
