Much needed commit at a much needed position.

 

The little bit I can tell about him as a high school player was he was a DT/OT so he has dropped weight to be at 270 lbs now.

 

I heard Blake Alderman say today he was around 280 to 285 now.

 

Will play inside a lot. I think outside honestly we are loaded. In Collins, Searcy, and James we have 3 guys that will play on Sunday. Cannot forget about these 3.

Great news on a number of levels - two years playing experience, position of need, chose us over UGA, Auburn and other P5s, made the commitment even with the DL coaching position open - and creates a little momentum right now.

Not knowing a single thing about this guy I would guess he probably isn’t that good but most important for us he is a natural big body and has more man muscle than our younger, possibly higher upside, players, which we are low on.
