LOL. Seems like you are carrying Russia Don's water. Trump seems to have infected you. Just remember this. If we don't help Europe with its Russian security problem, then Europe will not be inclined to help us (or Asia) with our Chinese security problem. And that will only make both problems more difficult and expensive to solve. Do you really need to get into another arms race like we did before? Is that the wisest use of our money? Or are you planning on saying, "I didn't see that coming! No one could have predicted that!" One thing that an incompetent "leader" like Trump doesn't understand: it is much easier to solve major problems if everyone is on board with solving them. Dictators create problems--they don't solve them. If Europe continues to do business with China, then China has plenty of funding for its military, regardless of how much we sanction China.

I remember when the establishment said the same thing about Hitler's Germany. FDR was "threatening us with war against Germany" to justify sending military aid to England. That war never happened, did it? No, wait, it did! How about that? And our fight against Germany was a hundred times easier because we sent military aid to England in advance, allowing them to resist and be ready to fight. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we won that fight, and western Europe has been peaceful ever since.

But that's some nice propaganda you have there.

I agree. The War in Ukraine is Russia's Vietnam. Stubborn, determined people defending their homeland against a strange aggressor nation, while benefiting from external military aid. We just have to be committed to see the war through to Ukraine's victory.

Sorry about that. I didn't mean to totally own you. I was just going for partial ownership.

How quickly (or conveniently) you forget the months and months you babbled about the incompetence of the Russian military. Now it’s going to take over the world.

And, none of what you describe consists of controlling Ukraine at gunpoint. However, if Russia should win, do you really think they would hesitate to control Ukrainians at gunpoint? Russia has already opened dozens of torture centers in occupied territories.

I would think that Russia's behaviors did a hundred times as much to "radicalize" Ukraine as anything the U.S. did. Maybe you just don't value your freedom.

Russia's military is only rendered incompetent by the effectiveness of America's 40-year-old weapons and the ammunition we provide for them, combined with the skill and determination of Ukraine. We stop providing, Ukraine stops winning. Imagine that.

Shouldn't you be babbling about some Russian propaganda? Or is it shift change at the Kremlin and they haven't provided you with any talking points in a while?

Somehow you missed where Biden, Blinken and Austin blew the worst kept secret in geopolitics - the longstanding program to depose Putin and weaken Russia.

You mean, just like Hitler's invasion of Poland had very little chance of spreading? How did that work out?

Communism is a political philosophy, not a wildfire, and not a contagious disease. It is popular with nations struggling with poverty because it gives the illusion that everything is done for the good of the people, while giving the ruling group absolute power over the country to enrich themselves and live like kings. Not very many monarchies have been established in the last 120 years, because there is no way people would trust a single person to not be corrupted and steal everything. There is no illusion of things being done for the good of the people. Established monarchies have sometimes held on to power because they have demonstrated at least some ability (over multiple generations) to improve the lives of citizens and protect them from foreign powers. In wealthier countries, monarchies have, at best, faded into a ceremonial role, or disappeared.

And don't forget, the longer that we allow Russia to continue with its invasion of Ukraine, the more likely other countries will invade each other, thinking that the U.S. is too distracted by Russia (and internal politics) to care about a smaller invasion. It is likely that Gaza would not have attacked Israel if the Russian invasion was not happening and the U.S. were not divided in opposing tyranny and conquest.

Pissing away hundreds of billions today is a lot better than pissing away tens of trillions in the next few decades on an arms race with Russia (especially if Russia becomes $12 trillion richer to finance their part of the arms race).

Seems to me like we’re pissing away Ukraine and hundreds of thousands of its mostly conscripted men, women and now teenagers.

Ah well, I guess it’s cheap for us. Just adds another five or ten bucks to our grocery bill.

So, we invaded Russia and opened torture centers?

Your solution is to enable Russia to enslave Ukraine. News flash: Ukraine would rather fight for their freedom. We are doing nothing more than providing Ukraine with weapons, ammo, and training. The choice to fight is Ukraine's and Ukraine's alone, as I've explained to you many, many times before and you have not successfully disputed.

If you don't give Biden something useful to spend money on (like global security), he will find something else to spend it on.

Remember when Zelensky fired his cabinet official for fabricating the Russian mass-mass rape narrative.

Apparently, some lies are over the top even for Ukraine.

Whst?!?!? Not only can I refute your garbage point. I feel duty bound to absolutely correct it.

We don't have enough money to secure the southern border???

Trump estimated it at 12.6 Billion. DHS disagreed, and claimed it would be 21.6.

    See:

The Wall: The real costs of a barrier between the United States and Mexico | Brookings.

Let's go with the higher number. 21.6. Now, for shits n giggles, let's multiply that by 2. Hell, let's times it by 4. That's less than 88 BILLION. Still LESS than what we've already pissed away to Ukraine--presumably to se ure their border (who knows what really for...).

Less than half what China jo wants to give the most corrupt government on the planet.

Note: our contribution to Israel numbers in the hundreds of millions.

Sorry....I smell a big !@%%$n 'rat at play here. The dems are in the corruption skank tank with Ukraine, and THAT is why....

    Ukrsine > [US + Israel].

PS--Russia is a joke. They are nothing like Germany in the 1940's. Notice how it took Hitler 2 days to occupy Poland.

It's taken Russia 2 years get no where near occupying Ukraine.

Russia is just a shitty excuse to pump billions of US tax money into the Ukranian laundering machine, to get a big ass jick back to corrupt dem coffers.

^ No evidence that Russia is trying to conquer Ukraine. It’s content to continue to chew through the human strength of the Ukrainian war machine until it finally collapses and Ukraine is no longer a viable gun platform for the West.

    Three things:

    1) Even with the DHS plan, there is no guarantee that immigrants wouldn't be able to tunnel under or climb over the wall.

    2) Maybe you might want to check the Big Dig in Boston (underground road/highway system) to see how much large gov't projects can overspend gov't estimates. The $3B project wound up costing over $25B.

    3) You still haven't explained where the threat is from these immigrants. They are, on average, better than Americans at obeying the law and paying taxes, and we couldn't even harvest our own crops without them. (You do like to eat, don't you?) Number of attempts of immigrants from the southern border to take over the U.S., fly planes into buildings, or otherwise coordinate attacks against the U.S.? Zero. Are you concerned that their brown skin color might be contagious?
Are you saying that Ukraine should be able to defeat one of the top three militaries on the planet on the same budget that Israel needs to defeat Hamas? Are you that clueless?
Do you have any evidence that Ukraine is making payments to the democrat party? Or are you just making things up again?

It is highly unlikely that any significant amount of money (like, more than $10,000) is coming back to the democrat party from Ukraine without anyone noticing it or talking about it.
Maybe Poland would have appreciated a superpower giving them a heads up and some advance aid towards fighting the Germans. Did that ever occur to you? Probably not.

And, yes, Russia came remarkably close to defeating Ukraine in the first week, making it all the way to the outskirts of Kiev. Or were you not paying attention? Did it ever occur to you that the difference between success and defeat might have been the advance notice and aid before the invasion?
So if you tell the same lies enough times (without evidence to back it up), then they must be true?

Do you have any frickin idea why the U.S. spends money on the military? Any idea at all?

I have to give you some credit. It is rare to see so much ignorance on so many subjects in one single post. Did you graduate high school?

Russia's economy is overheating again. Too much military spending, not enough GDP. Inflation is increasing again. As U.S. and European inflation are dropping to a very desirable rate below 3%, Russia's inflation is at 7.5% and climbing.

Vladimir Putin is running Russia’s economy dangerously hot
