I don't like spiders but I am fascinated by them. I guess I have borderline arachnophobia. I could never go to school at Richmond.
I dont like how announcers keep saying teems picked to finish low, look "better than that" against us. Lol
We haven’t necessarily played bad or anything today, but I feel like we always play “decently” at best in this event. I can’t remember just a great performance.
18-23 from the line today. Gonna be shooting a lot down the stretch here. I’d start fouling now if I was Richmond.
Nice shots! I think in the lower photo, CTG is pointing to Richard and saying "You - make a few threes."
Anyone know if aberdeen is hurt? Seemed like a good time to get him some minutes. I’m not sure he’s really going to do anything special enough to earn significant pt, but I’m sure he stayed here thinking he’d see the floor. I guess our real rotation needs the work, and it’s nice to see them close out a game though.
Richmond is a well coached, physical team and has been swishing NBA 3s tonight. Impressive win on a “neutral” court. Good to see the Gators keep pressing and rebounding. A previous unnamed coach would’ve let this slip away. We've got quality depth this year hallelujah.
Richard - 21 points (8-of-11 FG, 3-of-6 3pt, 2-of-2 FT, 5 Reb, 2 TO) Samuel - 18 points (6-of-10 FG, 5-of-7 FT, 13 Rebs, 1 Asst, 1 Stl) R Kugel - 11 points (4-of-16 FG, 3-of-3 FT, 0-of-7 3pt, 3 Reb, 2 Asst, 4 TO's) Z Pullin - 10 points (3-of-6 FG, 2-of-2 3pt, 2-of-2 FT, 2 Asst, 1 Stl, 1 TO) Micah H - 8 points (2-of-4 FG, 3-of-5 3pt, 1-of-1 3pt, 10 Reb) Clayton - 8 points (2-of-7 FG, 1-of-4 3pt, 3-of-4 FT, 6 Asst, 2 Blks, 2 TO's)
For as much as we dominate the boards, we should be more efficient on offense. Overall a nice win against a well coached, tough team. We have athletes all over the place and I hope they get more cohesive as they play together more. They look great in stretching and then play dumb as rocks in others. And I agree about the FT shooting today. It would have been a much closer game if we had shot our normal 65%. One final comment. For all of Riley Kugel's great ability, he falls asleep at times and makes too many bad choices on shots and with his pas selection way too often. 4-16 from the field today, 0-7 shooting 3's, Your NBA guy should be better than that.
Our players were awesome after the game. I got to shake hands with most of them and also got to meet Gator legend Taurean Green.
