Is he a back up or another well evaluated player by CBN?

 

Dude is 6'4 200 lbs and played QB till this season when he started playing DB. Also competes in track and field and excels at the triple jump and the long jump. He might be a hell of a get at 6'4, athletic and just raw at the position

 

According to Rivals, we offered him October 5th so it doesn’t sound like a recent backup plan.

 

He's got great measurables for a DB. Don't get many at 6'4

 

Dude actually wants to play QB in college, so I’m wondering if he’s a replacement for Austin Simmons.

Glad he apparently took it down, but I can’t imagine that’s a positive for us

 

Which variety? Auburn, LSU, Clemson, Memphis or Missouri?

 

Imagine the size at db with Filsaime, Smith, Mincey, and Grimsley if we could pull them. Raymond loved that size.

 

Filsaime and McCray called Lagway last night on whatever app and they all sounded like they are all in still.

 

He wants to play at a really low level if he wants to play qb. I don't see that happening.

 

Billy needs to recruit like his job depends on it because sooner or later it will. Maybe he's safe next year, but one way or another, recruiting this season and next season will dictate his success here and whether he remains here longer than 3-4 years.

Hopefully we start seeing the fruits of his labor. I just wish we had more to be optimistic about on either side of the ball because we just don't look good anywhere right now, but no sense in dwelling on the past. Recruit now to ensure a better future.

 

I think we look good at RB, QB, WR and and TE should be improved. We should get better on O. Line TBD.

At some point the D has to improve. If that makes sense.

Well Napier, the head coach, made a pretty dramatic statement with Chaos and Raymond, so clearly UF needs helps with players at these positions. I do LOVE our linebacker class should they all stick. Really have the makings of something there if these young men are as good as advertised.
