I rarely ROFL but the thought of that song and Napier's regime is SO damn hilarious. Thanks for posting this. Making my day. Gallows humor is the BEST!

I am going to say that this is grossly misguided. It is easy to say on the outside looking in, but when you are the HC making LOADS of money, the portal is crack cocaine. Once you get it, you are pretty much hooked. I don't see you going for it and then being "prudent" with the rest of the team.

I can't prove this, it just seems that is the way it will be, says the blue bloods (and wannabe's) in basketball.

Bama probably gets a hometown price as the program is at the top.

Why would players from Iowa and VT want to come here?

I think you can buy a Top-10 team. But, you probably have to coach a national champion some.

You actually may be onto something there. There would be nothing like a good ole point shaving scandal to blow the top off this corrupt sport we refer to as college football

Not sure it's scandalous though. If you can pay kids to play why can't you pay them not to? So far there has been no name, image and likeness involved it's just straight bags of cash to show up. Bags of cash not to show up is no different.

Again though why not just buy the trophy? I thought the achievement was about winning with what you have not paying for it. Kinda like paying to put a V8 in your kids go kart then getting excited he wins the neighborhood race. Anyone can win if you pay enough, no skill, intelligence, luck, anything at all involved. It's over once that money is spent. Where's the fun?

How many titles does Oklahoma State have since he built them up? Sure, Mike Gundy is a MAN, but they don't have much to show for those dollars other than this year.

So another program that’s spent a bunch of money with absolutely nothing to show for it. T Boone didn’t even buy Mike a number one class like the nice folks in college station did for dumbo.

Considering he died in 2019, I doubt he donated much to NIL.

Hmmmmn interesting take, so UF could pay the opposing players to throw games, and not only that align with the big money "shady" gambling interests, thus doubling the pot for the "snicker" student athlete.

I think your on to something there on how to double UFs NIL bang for the buck.

Then of course, if caught by the liberal press, deny, deny, deny and keep it in the appeals court system so long, in conjunction with big envelopes to whatever gangsters are working it in the NCAA and the judicial system.....it will eventually go away.

Yeah, sounds good! We are, after all in a new era.

With respect goo, no, UF does not, until ink hits paper. I went down this road with uftaipan previously and to his point then and now, given decommits
and the NIL bribe frenzy that will occur now and until signing day, to say UF has a #3 class is an illusion.

Do I think UF will have a good class? Yes, top 3 or even top 5? I have doubts.

Look at how old FSU’s roster is compared to ours. That’s how Norvell was able to turn his program around in the short term by focusing on experienced transfers to bridge the gap before their HS recruiting picks up.
