Who was his DB coach? I wonder if the linebacker thing is the truth. I like seeing he has a 3.76 grade point average. I’ve kind of thought this kid had an attitude problem but maybe I was wrong. I can understand if he just doesn’t want to be linebacker and wants to save his eligibility to try to be a safety.

 

I like that he’s not airing dirty laundry, but generally you don’t get removed from the sideline during a game if there’s not some kinda something going on.

 

He did honor his commitment, twice. Scholarships are for 1 year and have to be renewed every year.

tbh, idc if ETN stays or goes, i’m still going to watch every Saturday when UF plays. I would love to have him back, but I can understand why he would leave. You’d have to be tone deaf not to.

My ONLY issue with jumping so early in the portal, him and Princely, is that…why not stay and see how the staff move plays out. Go through the spring and if things aren’t how you like it, THEN jump in the portal. It’s not as if they won’t be without big bidders for them then.

That’s my only issue with the portal, I would change the rule that the portal is only open for a month after spring. That way both NSD and ESD are done, college and NFL seasons are done, and staffs should be in place so there can be more clarity rather than uncertainty when the portal opens

 

My reply wasn’t totally about ETN, my reply was mostly about the statement that no one on this board would advise their son to stay at Florida. I replied I would and I suspected others would also.

I am not the arbiter for the correctness of ETN’s decision, his family and him bear that responsibility. I am only responsible for my thoughts and actions.

I don’t harbor any ill will toward him or his family, but I do reserve the right to express my thoughts about the general state of college football, and I respectfully feel differently than you do about it.

You feel how you want to about the situation, you decide what commitment means to you, and I’ll decide what it means to me.Fair enough ?

 

So then, no. I would not tell my son to go to another team to win more games. Especially uga. But then I'm a biased uf alum who wishes the state of Georgia would burn in hell, so there's that.

If my son wasn't happy I might tell him to go somewhere else. But I'd also advise sticking it out, enjoy your time, honor your team and more.

 

We lost 15 to the portal and two are really good and another is good. The others need to go anyway to make room.

i get cha. I’m just in the camp that I can’t blame him for exploring his options especially if i’m being unbiased. We complain a lot about playcalling and the OL and now some are mad a top offensive player is looking around???

 

I don’t let my kids quit what they started. Finish it out and decide from there but my momma didn’t raise no quitters.

I get it that today society will cut and run to better themselves with no regard to the people aroundd them. I take care of number one and my family to but I would stick with my boys in this situation. I’d never leave them hanging and if someone did me like that , we wouldn’t be enemies, but you ain’t my boy either.

oh I would think there’s something going on no doubt. We got Cory Raymond sitting there with his arms crossed all by himself on the sidelines during games. He was fired or either quit right after the last game. There’s definitely shit going on, and I usually side with coaches, but Who knows on this one.

 

It’s pretty much the same thing in my book man. Three star guys that need to move to a place so they can get to the NFL. I can understand a little better. If you play for liberty and you’re way too good to be on that team, I can kind of understand that. We are down and I see that EN has a similar situation, but he is on national TV every weekend and his path to the NFL is clear no matter where he goes. He just doesn’t want to stick it out with his brothers in my opinion and he wants to take the easy path
