Was Princely Expected to Enter the Portal?

I read where PU said he jumped into the portal machine because of development and strength & conditioning. I take it he infers lack of, interesting.

 

Aurburn and Mizzou were the only two that beat them badly. Aurburn didn’t have a phenomenal record, but they took Bammer down to the wire, and Mizzou was a pretty good team this year.

 

Don't see a WIDE gap between FSU and FL. Gap yes still we played them close.

 

They are 13-0, we're 5-7. That's a WIDE gap, my friend.

 

A WIDE gap?

Take a look at the Florida FSU score again. Also, look at the game stats.
It was a close game until the meltdown in the 4th quarter.
Also, the game stats were very close in all areas.

Please note that the ACC (aka the ALL CUPCAKE Conference) is not a superior football conference. In other words, they are not the SEC by a long shot.
Not only did FSU have the usual non conference cup cakes (that most teams have), they also had some conference cup cakes too. Eight of the teams on their 2023 schedule were so-so/ho-hum to out right cup cakes.

 

We lost the 4th quarter of most games. Even in game we won versus USC, we did not score in the 4th. Had to be S&D that causes us to wilt in 4th

 

We scored two TDs against the Gamecocks in the fourth quarter, including the winning TD with 47 seconds left...

 

It could be looked at simply as correcting a mistake. Just because a bad decision was made doesn’t mean you can’t realize it produced unintended results and undo it. Happens all the time. How else do you learn from your mistakes?

 

Chasing W’s I suppose if he is to be believed.

 

Why? That can’t be a reason?

 

Could be a coach. Could be family. Could be a lot. Could be he’s tired of loses. 3 crummy years with a very probable fourth to come.

 

That gap is widely closer if we swapped schedules

 

Did you see our game- you know the FSU/ Florida game...
I saw 2 teams closely matched- though both with their 2nd string QB. And our 2nd string QB was far greener than theirs.
We were undone by
1) stupid mistakes (spitting and trick play)
2) special teams yet again (missed FGs)
3) some well-timed officiating favors to FSU (that hold before the first half- what?)

If we simply DON'T SPIT, don't call the trick play, and MAKE THE FIELD GOALS its a different game.
And the officiating could have been overcome.

FSU deserved to win but the gap is small.

Now whether CBN will fix #`1 and #2 I don't know. But they are fixable.

 

I was there. We actually played great in the 4th quarter after being outplayed the first 3.
I agree our 4th quarter play in many games was poor, but not this one.

 

I do believe though, if we swapped schedules with them that the records would be a lot closer. We’ve played them close to last two years even when they had Travis. That’s why they want to go to the Big Ten is because they know their schedule is a joke, and it kept them out of the playoffs

 

Lack of depth has hurt us also.

 

You are what your record says you are. Florida is 17-24 in our last 41 games. Out of those 17 wins, only 4 of those teams had a winning record.

 

That is a completely different outcome if Travis was playing. UF was only close because of that.
