Putin flies with four Su-35 fighter escorts to UAE. I would be curious to know if a group of Ukrainian F-16's could take down all five Russian planes if a spotter in UAE let them know when Putin and his escort left the country. Something like the mission to take out Yamamoto in 1943, although I think Yamamoto had six escort planes and flew in one of two identical bombers. One of the greatest feats of intelligence and flying to intercept (probably some luck, too) during the war, not to mention the resulting dogfighting. Putin Flies To UAE With Su-35 Fighter Escorts (Updated)
Historical precedent: AFTER the Japanese war machine was all but dead, Japanese teenagers sunk or damaged dozens of US ships via kamikaze attacks.
Seen on the internet: "Russia is a clean, well-stocked Circle K, and Uncle Sam is a raving, toothless homeless guy in the parking lot suffering mentally from delusions of grandeur while he soils himself and waves a toy gun around telling people to obey his commands."
I'm guessing you would like to see more from the Totally Western Institute for the Regurgitation of Propaganda (TWIRP). LOL.
I bet Putin's pucker factor goes way up on the return flight home, now that everyone knows where he is out of the country.
Biden’s only option may be to memory-hole his war just like we did Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan https://responsiblestatecraft.org/republican-debate-israel-2666470408/
Russia really putting a hurt on NATO by killing off hundreds of thousands of its war aged male population, its navy, its tanks, missles, its economy.... to kill off hundreds of NATO army navy surplus toys. They're really causing NATO to tremble in its boots (by boring it to slumber). Btw--you ever wonder how France got to become so artsy fartsy feminine as a nation, after being such a juggernaut under Napoleon? Perhaps losing half a million war aged male soldiers in a single generation (interestingly enough, to Russia, on Russian soil...) may have had something to do l with that... Perhaps Putin's intent is to make Russia...France .
More on Russian troop morale. Russian soldiers are fed up with not getting any time off from the war (no leave, etc.). Some are talking about organizing a coup and marching on Moscow. Seems like Prigo might have planted a seed. In intercepted conversation, Russian soldiers discuss coup, ‘marching together to Russia’
Germany is doing its part to support Ukraine, with donations exceeding $18 billion. The latest includes 155mm artillery shells, automatic grenade launchers, trucks, and drones. Germany hands over shells, drones, other equipment in latest delivery to Ukraine
Muricans be like, “The government lies about every war it fights, but it’s telling the truth about Russia!”
And I’m solidly against that as I’ve made clear. I’m only saying it’s a pretty weak argument (which I’ve heard since the Russian invasion started) to say, “Well, Trump would have lost it faster.” Russia cannot be allowed a face-saving strategic victory. If they get one, then it’s our fault in the West, not the fault of Ukraine, which has punched well above its weight in this fight. And it’s our fault for not gradually escalating this thing instead of consistently being deterred by Russia. Ukraine’s valor, will, and ingenuity on the battlefield has given us the time and space we need to properly support Ukraine and restore the rules-based order in danger of complete collapse. Now if that happens, is saying, “Well, Trump would have lost it faster” really going to make you feel better? Not me. If Biden creates conditions to restore Ukraine’s borders, then he deserves all of the credit. If he fails, then he deserves all of the blame.
