I don’t know for sure, but that sounds like just a seat on the board of their professional dietary organization, not a full time career position.

No doubt. Did it impede her from doing her job at UF? Doesn’t appear so, but made her credentials more solid. It sounds like she got straight up run from her position here though.

I have no idea I’ve never sat on a board :(

To see her pushed and not S&C doesn’t make sense, but maybe more will come.

For all Intents and Purposes, she was responsible for a team that got pushed around and tired in the fourth.

Seriously though, I don’t see why any coach wouldn’t take the first opportunity to go to the NFL. This NIL/portal stuff has made their jobs exponentially more stressful.

And yet there are rumors the Gators are going to lure away a coach from the NFL

However, I think the path towards progressively better coaching jobs would be easier in college than the NFL.

Yea maybe there are valid reasons like being able to mentor or actually coach up a kid still make college better than the NFL in some ways.

Keeps him close to home which makes sense. Would be a bit of a slap in the face to UF IMO. If he wants to be the premier back and get more touches will he get it there?

Believe so. Their current top 2 backs are seniors and the projected starter for next year ruptured patellar tendon before the beginning of the season and he'll be back and a junior next year. We'll see

If that’s true I hope Hugh Hathcock coughs up whatever is necessary to get him to change his mind. Our arguably second best player on the team (EW number 1) can’t leave for one of our two biggest rivals and we expect to compete again. We need to make a statement that we aren’t being outbid for talent.

What if Hugh doesn’t think that’s the best use of HIS money? If you think you can cut a deal to get Trevor to stay, and that’s what’s important to you, then go cut the deal yourself. You don’t get to spend someone else's money however you want.

I don’t think this is a simple money issue either.

I would agree for most, but considering his brother I don’t think his family is hurting.

Johnson is likely coming back and you add Webb, Carol and 2 solid freshman. ETN wants to be the feature back.

Etienne’s mom tweeted ‘why are you butt hurt about losing your RB2’ so it was a playing time issue. Said they did what was in the best interest of the Etienne family.

ouch...he wasnt RB2. In a given game, esp with kickoffs, he got more touches than Johnson.

But if she posted that, I'm sure that was the main reason. I would like to wish him well in his football future, but that involves helping our rivals, I'm afraid I can't do that in sincerity.
