I’d love for us to get some nice Jordan brand alternate uniform swag at least 2-3 times per year. I know the old timers hate it, but as a mid-timer I like it.

 

I hate it kinda but it does look good.its kinda gimmicky and trying too hard to be cool like the stickers on the helmet thing. I just prefer the blue collar hard nosed type of attitude over the look at me crap.

I don’t see why it should be conditional, but I do understand why you would say it. I’d argue that young players do like it, so it gives us a little recruiting nugget. Look good, play good. Might not make sense, but man whenever my teams got new uniforms we all felt just a little bit better about ourselves.

 

A significant shift in the uniform should be a rallying point for the team. If all it does is to make them feel "nice and cool" then they aren't focusing on the task at hand. The uniform idea blew up big time.

 

Yep, just win. I don’t care what you wear. The alternate uni’s definitely seem to spur a whole lot more unnecessary negativity when we lose. We have enough issues without adding fuel to the fire.

They have a negative aura around them with this team. When’s the last time we won a game in one of these alternate uni’s? I don’t believe in any way, shape or form that they’re the cause for the losses, but they definitely add to the negativity when we lose in them.

 

Agreed. Apart from the throwback jerseys, alternates seem to be a guaranteed L for whatever game they get used.

Such a bunch of judgmental squares. You have clearly not been in college for a long time. Why do you think anyone cares what you think? I'm guessing you aren't writing big checks to the NIL collective, or to Gator boosters.

I like traditional uniforms, and especially don't like black uniforms, but if the players like it, who cares?

No wonder we can't get our crap together to focus on what matters to take the program where we want.

It’s all coincidence and really just nonsense. If we wear alternate uniforms more often, the superstition will fade.
