Florida is the only program to have 3 of the top 20 players in high school volleyball. In alphabetical order:

Jaela Auguste
Lauren Harden
Alec Rothe

A couple of the players are juniors. Wisconsin is the only program with 2 players, but 1 is a junior.

A different site has Lauren Hardin as the #1 overall player and Alec Rothe at #7.

 

What is the other site?

 

We need a top L to round us out nicely…imo…maybe tap into the Louisville scene for a top passer. We got Allie Gregory there. Louisville always puts out great passers. In any event, we need someone to fill in for Elle. Jmho

 

I think Canaan is supposed to be her replacement, but she's going to have to step up big time to duplicate McKissock's contribution to the team.

Last January, the game was televised on ESPNU and streamed on the Watch ESPN app. Kira Hutson played in the 2023 game.

 

You have problems with Bella Lee and Ellie Vogel? If so, why? As far as L/DS goes, Lee is the best in Florida and Vogel is the best in Colorado.

That was a fun match to watch. Arkansas was undersized, but is a group of battlers who gave it their all in front of a huge raucous crowd. Merritt Beason is a great player, who is on an excellent team. She had 19 kills, 11 digs and 8 blocks and I was as impressed with her backcourt play as I was with her frontcourt play. Nebraska only had 3 service errors and really won the match with defense and blocking. They meet an excellent Pitt team in the semifinals in Tampa Thursday night.

 

Nebraska has the game’s best coach, and the top freshman S and L, and their freshman OH was National HS POY last year. My wife is happy

 

We will have as many weapons as anyone next year…including talented young middles. If Alexis is back to her self, and the new L out of Tampa Plant is the real deal, we will be very tough…jmho
