I liked his skills... too bad, but even though running backs area dime a dozen the good ones are hard as hail to land... especially in Gainesville.

We have the running backs one is coming in through recruitment and another will come thru the portal. 1184 players entered the portal on Monday. I don’t get excited about players leaving our team for the portal because every team has at least 13 players in the portal. It isn’t about the Coach or the team it is about playing time and most of all MONEY!

 

I guess at some point the players are going to be making $1 million a year.

You may not want to pay it, but you just about have to to keep up with other teams.

 

those will be less and less as we move to the pay to play era. 4evergator in their farewell tweets until they land somewhere else.

 

College football is seriously screwed up. Losing interest in it.

Okay O' Wise One, who's the savior?

 

In the NIL/Portal world, 90% of the guys that want to be Gators, will be guys we don't want as we can't win games with them. The current landscape of CFB sucks.

 

I think if we fix the portal part of college football the NIL will take care of itself. These kids have too much freedom to leave one school for another, and that has to change or college football will suffer for it.

 

I think I will be done with CFB for good after next season. this isn't drama, this isn't fun at all. no love for the schools, no love to hate rivals anymore and our Athletic Department seems happy to keep getting G5 coaches that don't work out. We're going to be the Kentucky from now on if we're lucky
