Pearl Harbor Day alright for UF football, Seaton and now Trevor......... Ugh

 

About done, honestly.
Coming into the offseason, I was more than willing to give Billy the benefit of the doubt through next season. But a lot of that was based on what was going to happen in December. So far, none of it has been good. I'm quickly losing any confidence at all in the man. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but I'm almost 100% positive we will be starting over again around this time next year.
That, and the silly transfer portal crap that is killing college football as we've known it, is really diverting any passion I used to have for the game away. I probably just need to find a few new hobbies!

 

Gonna be a whole new team on the field come next season. This is the new college football get used to it. Ultimately, I think we just gotta wait and see who we bring in from transfers/recruiting class.

 

I still feel like I have no control over any of it. Me throwing a fit won’t fix anything. Take it in stride, or find something else to occupy your time.

All I can say is I sure hope the staff havs multiple "some big" tricks up their sleeves. Hemorrhaging at the moment.

 

The lack of moment or certainty of the coaching staff is my reasoning why I don't think he last. There's no reason why we shouldn't have a DL coach named, movement with the ST coach/analyst, and we ALL know the OL coaches could be replaced but nothing has happened. Radio silence.

I’m not sure this situation is even recoverable at this point. I don’t know who would come in and fix it, and don’t know who would have done better the last two years. Billy is in a bad spot though, and it doesn’t even matter what he does right now, it will be wrong. The noise is going to keep getting louder. It’s not all his fault, but he has to be responsible for some of it. Almost all of the problems people harp on happen at programs all over the country, but it’s hard to defend all of them happening at the same time here.

We are in a hole it’s going to be hard to dig out of, and we don’t have the luxury of an acc schedule to give us some breathing room while we try to get our feet back underneath us.

What is the status of Montrell Johnson?

 

How long will it take for a coach to figure out that a recruiting class out of high school should be 5-6 players who can start and the rest of your team should be transfers? I’d consider ZERO high school recruiting. Just tamper like hell during the season to cherry pick the team you want and can afford.

Don't get attached to players or names until the NIL/Portal gets fixed with a super conference and its own rules. If I had a good year, I'd be in the portal too and getting as much cash as I could while I can. I don't blame any player that does it. The system sucks, but its the current system. Hopefully they fix it before CFB declines in passion.

 

He is one of my faves to watch run, but otoh, I can't stand to watch him let our qb get ragdolled because he pretends to pass block.
