Coach O for DL coach. Yaw yaw footbaw!

People having fun with Coach O's wikipedia page, I think he's been the coach at 3 different places in the last 15 minutes.

 

And as I posted regarding losing both Raymond and Spencer, I thought maybe one of the problems is older coaches not respecting the young upstart DC and maybe did not think he was listening to them the way they wanted. O is not only an old guy, he was a HC and had a damn BIG ego about it. He is going to be content being a small piece of the Napier pie?

Or is he hoping to get the interim HC gig...for the third time. You know, some guys excel in stabbing folks in the back to get ahead. Just putting it out there.

 

Considering no one has hired him as coach in two years, maybe he is ready to eat a little humble pie and take a step back into a DL position.

 

That is the hope. It is just that he did this at USC and LSU. It feels kind of cautionary.

 

Seems like he's was doing pretty well there until the tragedy in practice.

 

I know it's Wikipedia, but they list him as a UF assistant

He hasn’t been a defensive coordinator in 10 years. Most his career is as DL coach. Being a DL coach here makes the most sense if he does get hired to this staff.

He had an 18-month non compete and has made a living being the interim coach in situations like this. Don’t let that Cajun “I garontee” accent fool you. Dude is smarter than the average bear.

I was thinking that a lot of posters on these forums are immature, but reading Tiger Droppings makes me feel a bit better about us after all.

 

Cajuns are just different. And often drunk.
