Before I would begin to feel sorry for the noles, I think back to their QB Rodemaker or whatever. He is playing his hardest against us, and slides like he should have and gets a forearm right in the jaw, swirling his brain a bit. How many of you all were like me thinking that's a good chance to be a concussion? Apparently none of the nole trainers, medical staff or coaches did, or maybe they had such a mindset to win at all costs (Bobby and Jimbo) that hey, let's not bother with any evaluation. Let one play go by and put him back in the game.
That's the true seminole mind set it seems and so no I don't feel any sympathy for them.

I'm surprised you haven't been called a nole in gator clothing! I've read every one of your posts, you give the sec and the gators backhanded compliment while propping up FSU and the ACC....just saying

Exactly. They all forget when it helped them, they also bitched a bit about having to play UF again in 1996 if we all recall.

Match their best wins to Bama’s best wins.
Bama had a couple close games, so did the Seminholes WITH TRAVIS(BC and Clem of the top of my head). Take him away and the last two games shows what they really are.

Are you purposely ignoring FSUs great games vs BC, Clemson, UF, Louisville (lost to UK 5 loses and gave up 38!).
wow the selective indignation is amazing.

Different situation. In 06 it was clearly UF or UM for the MNC. Since UM and OSU just played it was clear who the better team was. Our one loss was away against a very good Auburn team due to a very ? call.

It was clear to anyone who knows football UF was a top 1-3 team, just as it is clear to anyone who knows football that FSU isn’t really a top 6 team without Travis and that’s who they are now, today and will be Dec 31.

Don't feel sorry for that CLOWN school whatsoever. That program was dead, mid major Mike couldn't recruit to save his life, but caught lightning in a bottle with Travis playing a 6th freaking year & a TON of upperclassmen transfers vs the biggest joke of a conference in CFB. This is a "school" that sold it's soul to keep a rapist SCUMBAG on the field to win fb games. So in closing it's Karma and I pray it tanks their recruiting back to irrelevant as the playoff committee completely laughed in the acc's face!

The piece of evidence i present is the last time the semi’s were selected with a much better QB (as well as a despicable individual) they chose to no show against the ducks and were BOAT RACED. That alone should DQ them if the selection was even a close call and this year it isnt.

The real travesty is the fact the committee ranked them so high to “spread the wealth” among the P5 conferences instead of around #10 where the belonged even with JT.

Thankfully next year with 12 teams the selection committee can be more honest with the higher rated seeds

That was the BCS format that included a calc on SOS. That helped UF get in that game.

And Miami, that game was a 7pt difference. 27-20. Not like they blew their doors off.

And didn't Notre Dame beat FSU and finish with the same record? Let's not forget 2000 when they got into the NC over Miami, when the Canes won the regular season matchup and finished with the same record. OU damn near shut out FSU in the natty that year. Noles been done a lot of favors over the years.

Texas got way too much credit for beating an average Oklahoma State Team that got embarrassed by UCF 45-3. IF you jump from 8th to 4th, how good was the team you beat? Was it the 6th best team, 5th, 4th? Unless it's one of the top 3, the reasoning for the jump just doesn't make sense. The four best teams were Michigan, Washington, Alabama and Georgia, but the revenue wouldn't roll in with the possibility of another all SEC Championship game. The rules are such that you can "justify" any selection and that's just what the committee did.

I thought Michael Irvin was suited up for FSU the way Johnny Williams was manhandling the Louisville defensive backs.

That was because Richt, who was leaving, didn't put any effort into game planning for OU. Remember ...

Not me, and I even posted that the spread was ridiculous in the Ore/Wash gm. Washington had to beat them twice. FSU is lucky they dont have to play Oregon out west. At least they should have some fans in SFla, to watch the beatdown.

Any comparison to the NFL is irrelevant as they have a clearly defined process. There is no rule that says if you are undefeated you automatically make the final 4. There have been many undefeated teams left on the sideline over the years.
