I just like a man of his word, they are rare. Show me a number, we agree, shake hands, we are done here. There are a few left and they are the ones that pan out more often than not.
This situation doesn't look optimal for us, however the player deserves the benefit of the doubt until he breaks his word. Hopefully he is one of those rare people you are referred to.

X is doing what any other teen would do when coaches are lost. Relationships built are important, but Texas is on the same plane as us with getting to know coaches. Unless of course they were courting him as long as we were with ours. Let's let this play out. If Billy doesn't get a home run hire to keep him, then I can't blame the kid. I want him to play for the Gators, but sometimes the brand isn't enough for these kids. It is what it is in this new environment of the portal and NIL.

This, I feel like he has in the past come up with something or had something announced that helped ease the pain so fingers crossed we get something he has to know fans and the perception of the program is not great
Five straight losses to end the season, recruiting class getting poached, current players bailing, no new commits nor coaching hires announced. I realize he’s out recruiting now, but Billy needs to stop the bleeding here.
Not mad, just that Billy’s been good at countering negative news with positive news in the past. The concern is that there are no positive news to counter with.
