I think he lives, breathes and sleeps FOOTBAWL. Hell yes I'd love to see it. It would be worth the price of admission just to watch him. Gators could follow him with his own camera and sound crew and we could watch those hi lights after the game.

 

Seems farfetched. That'd be like Mullen taking a job as a QB coach.

But if it happens, I'd be fine with it. Although it's prob been some time since he's actually coached a position.

 

The LSU faithful would be apoplectic if this happened. Therefore, I am for this. Just can't see this happening.

 

TV and interviews would be interesting.

That’s what I’m talking about. He doesn’t seem like he has any hard feelings.

Also doesn’t seem like a guy that wants to get back into coaching, but I guess stranger things have happened.

 

Don’t believe it. And I don’t think it would be a good hire if it was to happen.

 

JMO but I think it's just wasting a lot of money on a guy that's past his prime. I'll be pleasantly surprised if he makes a significant difference in recruiting or DL play. I think our biggest weakness is weakness but I don't know who could rectify that without getting our guys on "the juice".

 

I certainly don't. But people think I'm a pessimist so there's that.

Publicly, I would have put a good face on it, too. Privately, I would have been seething that you had shown me the door for a guy who never succeeded at Notre Dame and just failed upward.

 

What a Christmas present this hire would be!

 

Saban is 72 so Coach "O" might just have another 10 years in him. The guy LOVES Football.

 

Isn’t he known as a guy who always tells it like it is? 17 million bucks, I think I’d walk away happy too.
