We've got more nukes than are needed to blow the planet up 16x over, but we have to pay a billion dollars to bring it back to earth, to hopefully mostly burn up in our atmosphere?
Or figuring a way to move it to a lunar orbit and use the modules to build a lunar habitat. Sure it would be costly but cheaper in the long run the biggest expense is getting it off Earth.
I would think slow even controlled burns could slowly move it away. It doesn’t need a big jolt all at once.
