As a proud Florida resident for the last 20 years, I will say that I agree it should be embarrassing, but to paraphrase one of my favorite lines from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation,

"If they know [Florida], they won't think anything of it."

If I were an FSU fan (god forbid ) I’d be pissed too. But bottom line GA is a 13.5 pt favorite over FSU, so really what they are whining about is not having the chance to get their ass kicked in the playoff.

I remember the day when Republicans were against frivolous lawsuits and against government intervention. Or maybe I’m getting old and I just imagined it.

It also wouldn't happen. If the Gators went undefeated and won the SEC, we'd be in. That's the perk of not playing in a third-rate conference.

ESPN and Disney actually plotted to save FSU from embarrassment on the national stage lol.

As long as there are Californias and New Yorks, Florida needn’t be embarrassed.

DeSantis is pure dbag. A humorless, pandering fool just like his orange mentor. Have you seen the footage of him attempting to smile? Just bizarre!

Both California and New York dominate Florida by GDP, standard of living and more.

A million bucks? Lawyers wouldn't bother getting up out of their Barcaloungers to file it for that much.

I wish they’re dominate with people moving there instead of Florida.

What we're seeing is a redistribution of population by political affiliation, to a large extent. MAGAts in particular are flocking to FL and TX including from blue states. This said, California remains a dominate state, by far, and I don't see this changing during our lifetimes. New York has less going for it than Cali, but will remain top-5 for the foreseeable future IMO.

he is termed out. I suspect he will appoint himself as president of fsu or give himself a tenured position somewhere before he has to leave office if he can't find a way to win a senate seat

Doesn't he claim that the last election was stolen?

No, wait, that would mean that he stole it. Never mind.

I think you’ve got this all wrong. Any stunt would just amplify the wailing and embarrassment for SWAC. I say let them sue. I say let them “protest” and pull the old Norvell strategic withdrawal from a game the Crims are sure to lose, like Clemson in 2020. It’s just going to make the situation funnier and funnier.

We might be pissed but we would have run unbeaten in the SEC and likely wouldn’t have been deemed not worthy due to playing in a weak ass conference. ;)

And agree we wouldn’t be lawyering up.
