The "how do you know Trump will do anything terrible if he is re-elected?" people are hilarious. Because he is telling us. Every day. All you have to do is listen to his stated plans. Also, he had a lot of fairly institutionally stagnant type of advisers around him in 2016. Now he has talented and evil people around him that will stop at nothing to achieve his goals even if it means burning everything to the ground if need be.
Agree although I would use somewhat different language. The first time around Trump appointed advisors who were institutionalists and in the end placed loyalty to Constitutional norms and the rule of law above loyalty to Trump personally. If Trump is elected he will be absolutely certain to employ loyalty to him as an absolute litmus test with loyalty to the rule of law and constitutional norms being totally irrelevant.
So when trump says he wants the govt to penalize media that criticizes him, you can’t tell if he’s talking about critics or not? The steps some of you go thru just to avoid reality ..
This is a shocking and unprecedented development in a country that’s been spying on, cracking down on and even jailing its critics.

Sounds much more like a description of what the US would become under the a future Trump Administration that the US today. By the way provide just one example of a person who has been jailed solely for criticizing the government.
Trump ‘dictator’ comment reignites criticism his camp has tried to curb https://www.washingtonpost.com/elections/2023/12/06/trump-comments-dictator-campaign-president-2024/
Im not worried because of the army of gun owners out there to protect us against tyranny. I'm counting on them to oppose Trump when he tries to crackdown on his enemies. After all, they are committed to liberty and defenses against tyranny.
I’d like him to crack down on whoever organized the so-called Summer of Love riots that killed dozens and caused billions in destruction shortly after George Floyd ascended to heaven.
And to the extent that has occurred the objects of the spying and jailing have overwhelming come from the far left side of the political spectrum rather than the right.
The only problem with the post is that dozens weren't killed, the vandalism and theft was never referred to as "the Summer of Love' and it wasn't the result of any organized effort but was rather the spontaneous acts of vandals and thieves who used the demonstrations as an opportunity to take free stuff while committing acts of vandalism in the process.
Estimates range from 20 to 40 murdered, it was coordinated on some level and it was facetiously referred to as the Summer of Love. The only thing I said that isn’t true is that George Floyd did not actually ascend to heaven. He died of Covid.
While one is one too many, 25 is not "dozens" or at least the way the terms is generally used (it's two dozen), while there have been organizations on both sides of the political spectrum that may have encouraged violence there is little evidence that the vandalism was coordinated on a national level and with the possible exception of the right-wing websites that you apparently read, it wasn't really referred to as "the Summer of Love". 25 or 40 = dozens. Also, a few white supremacists sneak in and white supremacism was the problem. I think it would be fair to describe the whites as an anti-white supremacism killing spree.

what a bunch of soft ass nerds; lost in their bizarre fantasies of oppression & make-believe victimhood. appreciation. gratitude. perspective. get some.
