The problem is that we are determining who is better by rules and taking injuries into consideration. How is that the best way to determine a winner? Fact is that they have two W's in the column without Jordan Travis. That means they are at least competent. I'm no FSU fan, but if this was our team we'd be pissed and we'd be right.
The NCAA is about to get a big push back from every conference. No one likes them anymore as their main function was to keep the cost of players down. They no longer enforce any of that and have therefore made themselves irrelevant.
They may be competent but I don’t know many that believe they are one of the top 4 without Travis. With Travis, I still don’t believe they are but at that point I’d have to give them the nod.
We'll soon find out if that's true. As far as '06, that statement isn't accurate. The vast majority of the pundits thought Michigan should be in, and quite probably most people who weren't Gators thought so to. Fortunately, the ones who made the final decision were right, and the rest is history.
That osu team would boat race 2023 current fsu the committee learned its lesson with the tcu experiment last year
Dislike both teams but that would be good for us. Georgia is really good and we accept it. FSU being on a 19 game win streak and winning 23 last two years no good for us. This is a statement game. Hoping Georgia shows up
Schadenfreude is a combination of the German nouns Schaden, meaning "damage" or "harm," and Freude, meaning "joy."
But again, the rules stipulate that they take key injuries into consideration. It's not like FSU didn't know that before the selection, nor did the selection committee change the rules prior to the selection. They knew that Travis' injury might be what keeps them out. Barely competent against a 5-7 team fielding the worst defense in all of the FBS, isn't the same as going up against Michigan in the semis. Michigan would have been 31-0 or worse considering Michigan has the #1 ranked scoring defense. Given right now FSU probably has the worst scoring offense in the FBS meant the game would be over by the end of the 1st quarter. The only saving grace is FSU has a pretty good defense that would keep them in the game for a short time, but with Michigan's defense, they would be too much for FSU.
