Here ya go, again, you’ll see Farrell reports Grad Transfer.
you can google Farrell, google their names, etc but you might be looking at an inaccurate sight as you mentioned these guys and they are being billed as “Grad Transfers”. I would also say if there are 4555, or even 65 grad transfers in the portal there are at least 10 or 15 that could play for us as we definitely need to bring guys in as evidenced by our 11 and 14 record last 2 years. Data says we need guys.

How do you know UF hasn't reached out to them? It's not required that kids post every event of their lives on Twitter. Donyku have a running list from the staff who all they've contacted or is Twitter your source?

 

Reported by Gator guys. Some insiders and some not. One I listened to on podcast. Could be wrong but have we have not been aggressive in the past.

 

And do you know how many more players we have to purge just to get under the number needed just for our '24 recruiting to fit let alone the 10+ or so transfers you keep talking about?

 

No, I don’t. I just know we need a great start in portal. Facts like Riley flying to visit kid yesterday and UNC already getting a qb commit are true. Just hoping we see a guy or two commit asap. Staff has no bowl game so thinking they are working grad transfer route in major way.

Translation.....you have NO idea who UF has offered, you have NO idea who UF has reached out to, you have NO idea who UF is interested in/wants, you have NO idea re UF evaluations. And per usual that doesn't stop you from carrying on like you do know all of that stuff. Bizarre

 

Well, at least you're honest. But this isn't Madden franchise mode. You can't just turn off the salary cap and sign every player you want.

Billy has stated multiple times that we won't take numbers just for the sake of taking them. It's about quality, not quantity, especially with our scholarship limit. Like someone else said, we might as well be a million miles away from seeing what is going on behind closed doors, so it's asinine to suggest that Florida or ANY other P5 program operates using this "mindset" as you claim. You are getting your "info" from social media and other outsiders just like us. It's all speculation and BS.

Just sit tight and let it all play out. These guys know what they are doing.

 

I’ll give you an example, David Waters, From gators breakdown. Considered to be a reputable source. That’s where I and many others got our Charlie Partridge information with regards to Partridge having interest in Florida. He is a personal friend of David’s, so some podcasts deliver reputable information from reputable individuals.

 

The data suggests otherwise with 11 and 14 the last two years. Sitting tight is what has gotten us where we are currently. Being aggressive in the portal and grabbing one or two players very quickly is easily doable and I can 100% say that without saying how many more players we need to move out. It’s 100% factual that we need several impact players in the portal and getting one or two quickly would not cause us any issues whatsoever you and I both know that. Yes, we don’t know how many players need to be moved out/processed but again Grabbing two guys early can only help us and will have nothing to do with overall numbers. I agree we can’t go out and grab 8 immediately, but nobody is saying that. Just saying be aggressive and don’t wait like we had the last two years

Thinking this may help some with recruiting if Georgia handles business.

 

If Georgia shows up, I see 38-13. This will be important for the SEC. Dont like the other team but we need an SEC victory here.
