Your second set of criteria goes a lot further to prove who is the best team. By your first criteria you could pick liberty.
If FSU is left out, the ACC will implode. I believe that type of chaos will also play into the decision. I am still sticking to the following: UM UW FSU UGA
I think you're right, but hopefully they all watched that game and saw what product will be put on the field in the first round.
we all saw what Georgia did to Oregon last year. I’m not sure that Washington is going to hang but that’s why they play the games on the field.
so they should let them in because they’re going to cry if if they don’t get in? no one in the country believes they can beat any of the teams being considered without Travis.
I would be willing to trade every present under the tree right now if Georgia and FSU get left out of the playoff picture
Man, I would cry so hard if this is the top 4. FSU going undefeated and still missing the playoffs. I would cry laughing. Lol
Yeah Michigan probably beats FSU something like what they did to Iowa. Washington may give up some points, but their oline will struggle with FSU dline. That might be a decent game, I have no idea.
How could you possibly consider putting in FSU to leave out Tide? Tide could destroy FSU with one hand tied behind their back. We need 8 teams otherwise it is a joke.
FSU is not one of the best 4 teams right now, but to me they should be in the playoffs. You’re a power 5 conference champ and you go undefeated. Many fans of other schools are saying FSU don’t need to be there, but if the schools they pull for were in the same situation and got left out, they would be pissed. They did what they were supposed to do.
The head of the committee, said it’s supposed to be the four best teams, regardless of anything else. For best teams. There’s no way in hell FSU belongs in the top four right now
The committee's job should be to pick the most deserving competitive teams going by schedules and current status. If a team is playing with a third string quarter back and a cup cake schedule they may want to consider who they play next season.
So if Florida was in the same position as FSU. You would be fine if Florida got left out, because your starting QB got hurt? lol I can’t see that.
This is the last year this will matter, next year we'll be arguing what 3 loss team should be in, so lets piss some people off I'd go with Alabama, Georgia, Texas and Michigan. The pac12 and acc are not top conferences.
Even better for me is georgia is left out and fsu gets humiliatingly seal clubbed like TCU did last year.
My order would be: Michigan, Alabama, Georgia, Washington. Sorry FSU but y’all suck. And sorry Texas but your schedule sucked and your best WR is out for the season. Losing to a terrible Oklahoma team isn’t acceptable. And yea it’s a rematch of the SECCG but that game was such a close one that they’d get the highest ratings. It gets what I feel are currently the best four teams in and rewards Michigan for playing dominantly from start to finish. I guarantee the last teams Michigan wants to play are Georgia/Alabama.
If your starting QB is out, you're probably no longer one of the four best teams. However I get your point, but fsu wasn't even one of the four best with Travis.
