No way the mutts will get in over Bama, no chance now. The clowns are not one of the 4 best though, understatement. It will be criminal if they get in..
I'm not saying FSU is better than Bama, but for Bama to get in, FSU would have to drop to 5 after winning their conference title game and staying undefeated. I just don't believe the committee does that.
It has been said over and over that is the 4 best teams, not 4 most deserving. FSU is not better than Michigan,Washington,UGA,UT or Bama. At some point schools need to be held responsible for scheduling nobody. FSU deserves the UCF treatment with their schedule
Have you seen Michigan's schedule? I'm really not trying to pound the table for FSU, UL could make all this drama go away. I was just giving my opinion on why FSU getting in is more likely than Bama.
They've also never left out an SEC champion... so historically they are in too. Most playoff appearances Alabama (7) Most playoff wins Alabama (9) Most playoff championships Alabama (3) Conference with most appearances SEC (10) Conference with most game wins SEC (14) Conference with most championships SEC (6)
Very true so precedent may be broken If you watched the halftime show. They gave fsu a 97% chance of getting in with a win. Bama was a 84%
It's like that old saying about the falling tree , "If they win a game but no one tuned in to watch it, did they really win?"
2004 was still in the BCS era. Utah was in the Mountain West Conference at that time so even though they finished undefeated, they were never a serious contender. The better argument for that season would be Auburn since they finished as undefeated SEC champions, but were left out in favor of a one loss Oklahoma team.
Bama just beat Ga and is SEC champ and will 100% get in. If FSU gets in, perhaps we should get in the Sunbelt and get in the playoffs every year; why even play a tough schedule if it is not measured?
Michigan is the #1 seed, Washington #2. The SEC has never been left out, but an undefeated P5 conference champ has never been left out either. They can't put Alabama in and leave Texas out, so a precedent is definitely going to be broken one way or another. Georgia and Ohio State are definitely out of it this year, IMO. So it comes down to which 2 of Bama, Texas and FSU gets in, leaving the odd man and their conference totally feeling ripped off.
I think both Bama and Georgia getting left out is great, because if they are in it they will probably win the NC. I'm tired of both programs winning. I am normally a SEC homer, but not this year. Go Washington, Michigan, and Texas in that order and let f$u in just to get throttled. Go Gators
