Most dishonest people don't rape, kidnap or murder either. Those actions have nothing to do with honesty. Honesty is about whether or not they are telling the truth. Rape, kidnapping, and murder are no where on the line between honesty and dishonesty.

I believe Israel is more honest than Hamas. But I don't believe either Israel or Hamas is fully honest.

By that logic, if somebody said "Why don't Republicans like Obama," answering "They are racist" without any kind of qualifiers would be accurate because it is AN answer as there are certainly racist Republicans in the world who criticized Obama because they didn't like black people. I suspect that you would feel far differently about that characterization.

 

No. I never said that. I’m sure some of them positively detest Jewish people. But to wave your hand and declare anyone who is saying anything you don’t like about Israel as “anti-Semitic” is absolute horseshit. And that’s what we are seeing.

Strawman since there is a HUGE difference between declaring they are racists and declaring that racism isn’t the answer but is clearly an answer. Those articles refer to the answer not the people. As such, the phrase could just mean it is part of the answer for why all of the people do that. So your only accusation was to call "they" anti-Semitic without qualifiers.

 

The question asked how could anyone (singiular) believe Hamas is telling the truth(paraphrased).one answer is that that person (singular) is anti-semetic. Another answer might be that person is easily confused.. whatever. It isn’t the answer ( the only answer ) that may work just one of many.
