Even the back up rodemaker is a game day decision due to some sort of injury. They may have to play with their third string quarterback. I think Louisville wins.

I'll be rooting like heck for Lville, but am guessing that FSU's dline might be able to make a diff like they did in our game.

I bet he plays....but the docs are typically pretty strict once a kid enters the protocol. Putting him back in Sat night was pretty egregious, but that's beause they probably just had a trainer ask hi if he was ok to go back in

Hate to see the nolies lose both qb’s but if the 3rd back up is going to start it could be a long night of 3 and out. How good is Louisville?

Half ass Us’ defense, unfortunately, is pretty stout.
And from what I’ve been listening to on sports radio, the third string quarterback was highly regarded – a four star? – And we have no idea what he can do.
With their (I want to gag saying this) excellent defense, I can envision a scenario where they shut down louisville’s offense and just run the ball down their throats. (Remember the rooster:eek:)
Or maybe this guy knows how to throw the ball even…
    • PLEASE let this not be the case:(
    • SANTA if I was EVER on your nice list, please let the flea-ridden Georgia Bulldogs lose tomorrow, as well as the dirty/cheating/raping/cheating/dirty semi-holes:confused:

I hate that our player’s forearm to the head of their QB is affecting this game as well, it’s not fair to them (as much as I hate them on game day).

Yeah, you’re probably right. It would be different if, like, they had notoriously and intentionally injured our top running back right before a play-in game for the SECCG, a victory during which would have guaranteed our invitation to the National Championship Game and probably kept our head coach from bolting in disgust to the NFL. Sorry, that scenario was oddly specific. Since, as you imply, SWAC is a generally ethical program that would not do anything such as described or, like, conspire to keep an unprosecuted rapist eligible, I have to agree that’s unfortunate UF played a role in their current circumstances.

Do you want to sink to THAT level? Or would you rather be BETTER than that? History aside, you are talking about a brain injury to a young man that could affect him later in life for the remainder of his life. A young man that hasn’t done anything to any of our players. A young man who probably only committed the crime of loving football and wanting to play somewhere. He isn’t subhuman for that and neither are many of their fans. Have bad things happened during our rivalry with his team? Yep. Did we sink to that level Saturday night? Yep.

I’ll sink. I didn’t cause the injury. And I watched the play. Our players were not trying to hurt him. They were making a play right at the line to gain, and he moved to slide after they had already committed to stopping the run. It was close enough to call, and it was close enough to not call. I don’t wish their QB any ill, but in the current unalterable situation I will shamelessly delight in SWAC losing and crying the beloved country about how unfair it is.
