That’s a rather big misconception. If you are red meat and no processed meats, you would be fine. All the studies linking meats to heart disease always include processed meat. Go eat steak tonight and feel good while doing it. Oh and I’ll still give UN that finger.
I had my first in 1985 my second and third in 87, 4 more in the 90s. Had a stent put in in 2002 and have not had a heart attack since. Guess I can flip away with the finger? I did have a bout with congestive heart failure earlier this year but that was due mainly to COVID.
Sorry to hear that. I'd say you've earned the right to flip off whoever you want. It did make me think of these old skits.
My stepfather had a heart attack in his late fifties, as had his father before him. He underwent a quadruple-bypass at Shands and, under the direction of an eminent cardiologist, he undertook a stringent diet and exercise program. Eggbeaters, cut back on red meat, walked 2-3 miles a day. Lost a significant amount of weight. Everybody said he looked great. He was dead a year later with a massive heart attack.
I honestly think I had my first one my jr year at UF but I didn't go to the hospital so it is unofficial. My morning classes were at the School of Building Construction and my afternoon classes were in the College of Engineering. I was walking to my afternoon class and kept having to stop and catch my breath. As I was passing the Reitz Union it felt like an elephant was standing in the middle of my chest. I skipped my afternoon class and laid on the steps to the Reitz Union for the rest of the day until the pain/pressure stopped. I never felt that feeling again until my first official heart attack in 85. I do think a blood clot logged in my heart and eventually broke loose and passed on through.
What's funny is how these Leftists here do NOT understand what the UN is really trying to do here. They're trying to act like a NWO authority on everything. It's just part of the plan. These same people are trying to push into eating bugs.
I lost nearly 60 pounds eating ONLY meat. I still get 80% of my calories from meat. So, to answer the UN, not only no, but hell no.
Mystery solved and there are going to be a lot of pissed off people … The surprising reason why Kissinger reached 100 - despite his diet of bratwurst and Wiener schnitzel and his lifelong aversion to exercise | Daily Mail Online
MORE pure ignorance! People like you will be the cause of the upcoming resurgence of polio. I'm sure you will blame Democrats.
