What are you suggesting here? That this is the 2nd time a global pandemic has been unleashed purposefully from China to affect a Presidential election in the United States?

I don’t know anything, but the timing (1 year out before the election) and the source (China) are identical to last time.

That is some coincidence. Or maybe it is not a coincidence. COVID was engineered in a lab. I would not be shocked if 2-3 years from now we find out the same thing about this new mystery disease.

If you think about these things as random events…it is improbable that two pandemic inducing diseases would both appear at perfectly timed intervals to be at their peak right during an election.

If it comes out that this was bioengineered like COVID was…that will be the proof. We’ll have to wait 2-3 years to find that out probably. Nonetheless, power is something many people are willing to go great lengths to obtain. It is perfectly reasonable that China wants to choose who our next POTUS is.

Mail in voting with only a 30% authentication rate on ballots lead to a record turn out for Democrats last time. History probably repeats itself again.

Well elections happen every 4 years and China is one of the most populous nations on earth. A coincidence seems far more likely than whatever half cocked, hair brain conspiracy you’ve got bouncing around in your head.

You don’t understand probability. It is very unlikely to have two pandemics that lead to lock downs two presidential elections in a row. That is a fact.

I just marvel at the level of cognitive dissonance required to assume that China intentionally released a virus in their backyard to trigger a global pandemic in order to allow mail in voting in an American presidential election to oust Donald Trump. Just a special kind of stupid.

China unleashed on the world a bioweapon so deadly that it killed octogenarians with multiple comorbidities.

agreed. Adding to the idiocy, an exogenous disaster almost always helps the incumbent. Trump would have cruised to victory had he acted a bit presidential instead of being a hysterical clown. Further, the polls gave Biden an 89% chance to win...how did Covid do that?

It is not that far-fetched actually. The Democrats want a smaller military. They are pacifist almost to the point of being against 100% of wars (see Israel and Gaza as exhibit A). They want no border, which is a national security risk that could be exploited by an enemy. Whenever we meet with China it is usually in China, sending clear signals internationally who is the superior country in the relationship.

Democrats want to push the green new deal, which puts us at a serious competitive disadvantage to China economically and in the energy sector. China has heavily invested in green energy technologies so they can dominate the green energy market when the US and Europe thrust the environmentalist energy agenda on the middle class in western countries who will ultimately pay the steep price of these economically destructive policies.

And then Joe Biden, our commander in chief, is a dementia patient. He mishandled the spy balloon incident. He mishandled the disaster that was Afghanistan. Since Ji Xinping has set a deadline of 2027 to invade Taiwan, would he rather go to war against a commander in chief who is a dementia patient with a horrible track record in international affairs, or would he rather the US actually get someone in office who would manage our international affairs quite differently?

If you are trying to win a game of chess, the most important thing is probably who you are going up against. If you can control that then you have a large sway over the outcome of the chess match.

This is possibly the case there is a genetic mutation that makes someone immune to hiv. I can’t see why Covid wouldn’t have the same possibility. Even though it’s far more likely you were asymptomatic and did get Covid.

Seriously, its breathtaking. China intentionally destroyed their own economy in 2020 because they wanted to make sure Donald Trump lost because he was a SUCH a threat to them. It would be funny if it weren't so sad. What is with the conspiracy theory idiocy that has taken over the right wing?

The Democrats are against the military and wars but Biden is accused of causing Ukraine war and military spending increase and also blamed for Gaza War. You need to figure out which angle of attack to take and stick with it.

Somebody should tell Contra of Xi’s most recent visit to the US to meet with Biden. I guess he missed it.

Ok this is all over the place. First the inflation reduction act is not the green new deal. It had investments in clean energy but also fossil fuels. So you criticize our investing in clean energy, including manufacturing, but then you call out the US for falling behind in clean energy to China. Which is it? The cost of new clean energy is going down and in some cases the cost has fallen below fossil fuels. The increase in solar and wind has helped us get through record high temperature and almost all of the increased demand has been handled by solar and wind.

Meanwhile US oil production reached a record, and now we are shipping natural gas to Europe, offsetting the loss of gas from Russia.

What about the former commander in chief who seems to think he beat Obama, and has continued to post more delusional and incoherent bleats.

He did? He shot it down. What did you think he should do?

He was carrying out the Trump exit strategy that Trump negotiated.

Because Trump accomplished so much regarding China? Trump put tariffs on China, which caused inflation and hurt farmers and did nothing else Biden is slowly grinding Putin and Russia to the ground death by a thousand cuts style, and got Europe along for the ride. You don’t think Xi noticed that and considers that when thinking about invading Taiwan?

Do you honestly think Trump knows how to play chess? Do you really think there is any reasoning to what he does, other than “this leader likes me and says nice things to me so I like him”

There is a difference between funding a war, and then actually putting the military down on the ground in a foreign country and defeating an enemy.

Truth be told the US has a poor a military record post WWII, and that is because the pacifists have used the MSM to turn public opinion against just about any war where we’ve put boots on the ground or troops in harms way post WWII.

It is in the Democrats’ DNA to use the MSM to erode public opinion for wars. It is already happening in Ukraine, where it is said Ukraine cannot win the war. I’ve never seen such a powerful military walk with its tail between its legs in defeat over and over again.

And…it is worth noting that we have never declared war on Russia. So we are not at war with Russia in the same way we we’d be at war in Taiwan if China invaded Taiwan.

Oh, I know Xi visited. If you saw pictures of the visit you would think the visit was in China based on how much communist decor was put up in San Francisco and at the site of the meeting. We let the communist flag fly on US soil while Xi was here. Soldiers at the meeting were carrying the communist flag rather than the American flag. It was a major display of weakness by this administration. And then the POTUS allowed Xi to have a secret closed door meeting with America’s top CEOs. And then right after the meeting every single one of those companies came out and revoked their advertising for Twitter. That sends a strong message about who controls things in the US corporate world. Xi does. Not Biden.

Right, but Biden has drained the US petroleum reserves to historically low levels. And he has yet to fill them back up. You are talking about the man who flew to Saudi Arabia to beg the Saudis to lower the price of gas right before midterms. And what happens? They respond by raising it. They dropped their production.

Why is a country like the US, that is awash in oil, going to a foreign country and begging them to produce more oil so we can fill our oil reserves? Because Biden sucks. Because the Democrats are anti-oil. They want to destroy the petroleum industry to make way for green energy. The oil companies do not trust the Democrats.

I have said Trump is not my first choice. Nonetheless, Trump’s policies were good for the economy and good geopolitically. The world was a much more peaceful and orderly place when Trump was president in comparison to Biden.

I would like someone with much less personal baggage and more decorum. But policy wise Trump was night and day better compared to the Democrats.

I’m simply explaining why China would want the Democrats to win in the US. They are attempting to corner the electric vehicle industry. That is a fact, and it is also a fact that Democrats are pushing to ban gas powered vehicles. If Democrats win that one that is a huge boon for China given the aggressive investing China has made in technologies related to electric powered vehicles. There is no way around those facts.

Biden shot it down, but only after it traversed the entire continent and collected signals intelligence of our entire continent for China’s military. Someone with a more acute mind would have shot the balloon down sooner.

Yes. On some things. He is pretty good in some areas. He was solid in several areas where Biden is weak such as international affairs and the economy. WWIII did not break out like many Democrats predicted. He is also weak in character and decorum. Biden has bad character too, which is often swept under the rug and drowned out by the unceasing shrieking about Trump.

I would prefer someone better than Biden or Trump to be our next President.

Of course the Democrats parlayed the perception of a mismanaged pandemic to whip up anti-Trump fervor.

Did it turn a significant number of Republicans against Trump ? Did that particular tack energize Democrats who otherwise would have stayed home ?

    I don’t know.
