Might be quibbling, but that sloppy mess looked more like a sneeze than spitting. I remember in hs, we had one of those human missile safeties who'd light up receivers n have em hearing footsteps n dropping balls b4 halftime. One game he spat in a dude's eye. It was a tight lugey, not spittle shot mess. Not that I condone this sort of thing... just saying. The 'spit' on Sat night was no tight lugey. Looked like a blow out sneeze.
