Agree Gatorrick. I posted that before I added my 2 cents which is that there is no substance to the article. Partridge isn’t quoted anywhere in the article.

 

Hope you’re right. He sounds like he could be an asset. I too think he would jump at the opportunity at UF, provided our offer is right.

 

Something is going on at Pitt. They had two DL enter the portal and something like 6 total players enter the portal in 1 day. I don't know how good the two DL are that entered the portal but I believe one started something like 9 games this year for them.

 

He wants to be a Gator. He’s one of the better DL coaches in the country. Here’s to hoping Billy goes outside of his circle. Doesn’t have or need to hire a friend.

I'd love to have him, but if he wants to go to an SEC School, it would make more sense for him to go to Texas A&M. New coach versus a coach who's on the hot seat. A program that throws away cash. Both he and Elko were in the ACC so there's some familiarity. A lot of times when I see "Mutual Interest" it just means that someone's putting their name out there for recruitment. I hope I'm wrong, because it would be a great hire.

 

Once again, I wanted to inject the fact that Coach Napier is NOT on the hot seat . . . despite all claims to the contrary. The difference between the UAA and big boosters (Bull Gators) and people that post on message boards, even our premium side, is huge. Almost universally it is understood what the complete rebuild would look like and those that SS listens to are happy to give Coach more time. However, carry on . . .

 

Your post would make sense if there was actually a DL position available in A&M. But there isn’t.

 

Elijah Robinson is the DL at A&M and Elko already said he is not going anywhere

 

Agreed. He needs to hire the best. Not the best within his friend group.

 

Or the best from the Sunbelt.
