Must Win game --- wake right now has already lost to UGA and LSU. However, us getting into the tourney will come down to how we perform during SEC play, finish a few games above 500 and your in.
I played a lot of darts while in Gainesville and loved Corner Pocket (other locations were Dugout, Eddie C's, Porpoise, Alley Katz and a few other rotating spots) - cold schooners and awesome sandwiches. Good memories.
My favorite back in the day was the Purple Porpoise. They had the best wings with Hell Sauce. Turned your lips white and made the eyebrows sweat.
On Mondays, Market Street Pub used to have $1 pints and 20c wings. I had a quite a few nice $8 nights back then.
Eddie C's was the darts place. I didn't play much at bars in Gainesville but I did have a proper board in my office at UF. Nodor bristle board. It is in my garage. When I was a grad student at Illinois I played a lot of pub darts. My favorite memory was playing pairs cricket and the opposing pair was just a bit ahead and only needed a single bull to win a pitcher and we had no bulls. I threw two straight double bulls to win it. The bar went wild.
It definitely was - I spent far too much time in Eddie C's and my lungs still hurt from it haha. I was playing 6 nights per week for a while, and travelled around the state (and to a lesser extend around the country) for tournaments.
The original CJ's had decent wings if they were fully cooked. I got some pretty raw ones a few times.
Haha usually me and 2 or 3 roommates. The 2nd round of pitchers came with the wings at around 20 minutes.
Nothing worse than undercooked wings. Always order extra crispy and often they come out simply cooked.
