Look, they are the flavor of the month. I've seen more FSU shirts, etc. around than I have in years. They're undefeated. Now they come out of the woodwork. They have to be one the top front runner fan bases in the country.
What I hated most was our fluters were obviously being out fluted by their fluters. I mean come on, where were our flutes that night?? The fluters in our band need to take a long hard look in the mirror and think about if they really believe they have what it takes to flute us to victory.
This. I miss their playing We Are The Boys before the 4th quarter... Now excuse me while I chase kids off my lawn...
I think most of the complaints are from those who watched the game on ESPN. They must have had mikes all over the band and the fan section. But I also heard the Pride of the Sunshine quite clearly...
FSU is a low class outfit in all aspects. They even taunted the north stands from the field when they were gathering to enter the field at halftime. We should not let their band on our field and we should return the favor by not sending our band on the road to their house either. What's the point? It's just a waste of travel funds.
Delusional. And for all yall complaining about Chiefs being too loud, have you tried having your band be louder? Even with the gator band audio being piped in through stadium speakers they cant match the Chiefs. Anyways, have fun at yalls bowl game
Thank you eighties, I was aware of that fact, hence the mild sarcasm in parentheses. The fact is that I was somewhat aware of both bands, but I was focusing way too much into yelling my rather old arse off to pay them much mind. Their band had zero impact on the game, and while I understand the value a band adds to the pageantry, and appreciate all the hard work that goes into their performances… neither did ours. In an effort at complete honesty… I don’t have one iota of musically ability, and am probably the least qualified person on the face of the planet to discuss the merits of one band over another.
If you were there, then I know you do realize that the fans were incredibly loud from kickoff to the final whistle. Deafeningly loud. The fans did their job this year. We had five sellouts and the sixth cupcake game only had a few hundred open seats. All that during our worst season since 1979.
Maybe it’s just so much more annoying on tv with the sound amplified. I went to the Bama game a year or two back and couldn’t tell you if they even had a band. And how the hell old I gotta be to be a grumpy old man? Not saying I’m not at this point. I thought you were at least close with all ur scotch talk. Kids don’t drink scotch.
If ur gonna troll at least be funny. The flute troll was funny. The other asshat you could tell was either 12 or had an iq hovering around the same number.
I could press 225 for reps like it was cake at 46. I hit 50 this year and I’m looking at one of those chair lifts to take me up and down the stairs
