I don't know anything specific but this was posted about an hour ago. @bobbybaker86 may have heard something and it may mean nothing in the end (I'm not a X expert -- LOL!).

Still, I wanted to share it.

Missed opportunity. X'pert was right there. Would be nice to just recruit elite OL rather than have to hope and pray in the portal.

Maybe a gkkd reason to NOT fire our guys before ESD. We need every chanve possible to get this kid.

    When does announce officially, BTW?

I've heard this opinion on a number of occasions recently, and I just don't understand the mindset of this. We want to mislead kids? Lure them into believing they'll be playing for the coach they committed to, then as soon as they sign on the dotted line, we fire that coach? We really want that? And we really want unhappy players before they even get to campus?

Exactly.....not to mention they can then easily leave and it's too late to replace them

I mean if he has half a brain he knows the current OL coaches are on expiring contracts.

In any world other than that of recruiting teenagers, that post would indicate a sure thing. In this realm, it could mean anything. But - far more positive than not (it seems to me)

It’s a positive sign for sure. The biggest marketing piece we have is that he may be able to truly play day one. I’d say this one will be a battle for a little while still. Would be a huge pick up and there is some hope.

Does a true freshman OL really want to be thrown into it on day one? Of all the positions that need time to develop it would be OL, right?

It is rare that an OL is ready to play as a freshman but UF has had a couple of them in the past
    Mike Williams
    Maurkice Pouncy

and I believe a couple of more played extensive amounts of time as a freshman olineman

Didn't we have an o line man named Greene that started as a freshman?

Yes, Reggie. Jason Odom (the elder) started on the other side too as I recall.

Who knows, he could just be plugging for more followers. Those with an X acct, did he also post other photo shoot pics from other schools?
