Some players just don't learn either. I recall last year Jalen Carter(much better bull rusher than Verse) beating Torrence at the snap with a bull rush, and Torrence (essentially same weight as George) instinctively dropped his center of gravity and dug in and bought 2 to 3 more seconds for AR in what would have been a sure sack. George is very undisciplined and didn't need to be beat by a simple bull rush at his size against a much smaller player.
It’s his feet in my opinion not his strength. He gets offbalance easily when his feet start moving. To me, it looks like an agility thing more than strength.
Agree, and he has enough speed to get to his spot in run plays, but he does a lot of out of control lumbering to get there. But if Leonard stays another year, I don't know that he can take a starting position inside from Leonard or Harris.
Right. He isn't going to get any better deals elsewhere next year with the amount of play he got this year (if he is encouraged to stay).
He got snaps this year but I think he was also dinged up a little. I’m sure their plan was to keep his redshirt.
