"Because everybody else sucks," Fisher responded, prompting a chuckle from Iversen. "You know, I like Trump personally and I think right now who we have sitting in the Oval Office is just a deep disappointment ... I deeply have disdain for him and I really dislike the vice president [Kamala Harris] as well." After being asked by Iversen whether he felt "alone" as a BLM leader endorsing Trump, he said he did not, arguing that "a lot of" other Black people were leaving the "Democratic plantation" and embracing Trump instead. "I feel like the tide is starting to turn," Fisher said. "I feel like a lot of Black people are starting to pivot off of that Democratic plantation. For so long, we've been slaves to that party. Actually, we've been mental slaves, afraid to get off of that plantation." "That party ... they don't value our vote," he continued. "Their policies are basically racist policies. I believe that it's a racist party that strikes at the heart of the Black family and the nuclear family in general. And I believe Donald Trump, he's the opposite." Black Lives Matter leader endorses Trump: "Everybody else sucks" Democrats are slowly losing the black vote.
Leader of Black Lives Matter Rhode Island Meanwhile the BLM leaders of the other 49 states still hate Trump’s guts
Ex-Leader of BLM Rhode Island who also thinks the Jan 6th insurrectionists are political prisoners. Mark Fisher, A Controversial BLM Leader, Supports Trump
Anyways, as people have said on other threads, literally anyone can call themselves a "BLM leader" and grift as they see fit (or not). Its not like some kind of structured organization that vets its membership or who uses the name.
I’m anxiously waiting to hear what the leaders of Black Lives Matter Alaska, New Mexico, Vermont and Montana have to say about all of this.
The former pastor part doesn't surprise me, and it's always interesting when people (particularly religious conservatives) contend that Trump best represents their values. To the extent this man opposes Democrats due to abortion and gay rights, those aren't new issues of course, so I guess he's always been a Republican unless he had a recent change of heart for some reason. If anything, it seems that Trump likely cares less about and talks less about these social issues than DeSantis, for example. However, everyone but Trump is seen as the only one who doesn't suck and the sole person who can lead us to the promise land.
GREAT DRAFT PICK CONTRA!!! Guy is a total goof. Roland Martin gives him the stage to make a fool of himself. If you make it passed 4 minutes I'll be shocked.
I think anyone that is getting away with some kind of scam or petty crime is naturally drawn to Trump
He kind of reminds of this guy, Director of Black Voices for Trump DA wants bond revoked for Trump defendant Harrison Floyd
