I did listen to the science and the doctors that's why I haven't had the vaccine or any flu shots, eat red meat at least twice a week. And yet I'm still a live and my doctors say my numbers are great, his words not mine.
The weight that I'm supposed to be at for my height, I think I weighed that for about a week in Junior high
They have selectively bred chickens to create mutant freaks. They now grow chickens 3 times as large in half the time than they used to.
I feel your pain, brother! Yeah, I left off pork because it's so naturally good that I guess it's hard for us to mess that up lol. Pigs, though, are apparently very smart and I feel more ethically guilty about eating pork than I do beef, chicken, or fish.
Probably a good thing I've never met or hung out with a friendly pig. Would probably make the cognitive dissonance even worse for me.
Most meat birds are harvested for the table before they lay their first egg (like 8 weeks old). You can't raise them in your backyard because they'll die of obesity unless you heavily restrict their diet. You're not eating heritage birds in the grocery store. Egg layers like sex-links have been bred for egg production, not for size. Mass producers cull their egg layers after 1 season. You can get 2 and into a 3rd year in the backyard before they are spent. You can get an egg here and there from a heritage bird into the 4th year because most lay less frequently then production egg layers. I say most because some heritage breeds like leghorns can really lay.
Yeah I recall a podcast saying that farm raised turkeys can't even walk anymore because their breast meat size doesn't allow it.
These UN and World Economic Forum types also want to cut the global population to about 1/4 of what it currently is. Big conflict of interest there. Any association with either one of those organizations should be a giant red flag. “Hey, I want 75% of humanity to drop dead to prevent overpopulation and save the environment….but you should really follow these health guidelines because we really care about you and want what is best for you.” The UN is not a benevolent organization.
Obesity, excess sugar, STRESS, and a sedentary lifestyle are major contributors to the general health issues plaguing Americans. In our fast-paced go go go society, we have abandoned the whole foods based and minimally processed diets that our ancestors adhered to. When it pertains to red meat, you need to get the lean and grass fed quality cuts...not the mass produced Frankenstein cheap meat that's readily available.
My wife hasnt eaten red meat in the 24 years I have known her. She was recently told she had the health of someone in their mid 30's (she is in her mid 40's). I love red meat, but totally make it treat and not the norm. In moderation it can be very beneficial. I've heard that grilling it is a part of our problem. Carcinogens in the smoke for instance may be a bigger problem than the meat itself
