maybe the rightwing media can immediately start claiming that the UN is going to forcibly limit American consumption of meat, Ted Cruz can send out a video of himself eating an entire cow.
You know, just to show the UN

Good advice by the UN. In the last couple of years I've reduced my meat consumption a lot. Working towards a goal of eliminating beef and pork completely.

Downside of mass-derangement, AKA: Covid drawing to an end … irrational food fears returning to the fore.

I still eat quite a bit of meat. But I don't think most beef I get, for example, tastes as good as it used to. Not sure if it's hormones, or processing, or having corn-fed cows compared to grass-fed? Also, the size of chickens seems to be getting cartoonishly large and with less flavor. Not sure if anyone else feels this way; maybe it's just my taste buds have changed.

The chicken thing definitely seems true. Maybe the hyperawareness of salmonella causes people to overprepare poultry too.

I’m there with you on the beef, mainly steak. Sam’s club chickens are huge but damn they taste good. Has to be growth hormones or something similar. Pork has improved and become leaner which is healthier. Love a grilled pork chop. Sadly fish has warnings about over consuming due to mercury and other chemicals in the water. Even veggies are not the same as 30 to 40 years ago. Good example is wheat which is now a hybrid and not as healthy as the amber waves of grain we used to have. Fruits and veggies regularly have recalls due to salmonella, etc.

With all that I’m still overweight. Lol
