Wow, I remember just a few weeks ago a few people around here were asking questions about Raymond and got absolutely smoked for it. Can't have one of the worst defenses in the country and not expect some changes.

This is why I was excited that he was coming here. Having DB's like Patrick Peterson or the honey badger is what I was hoping for. Maybe all those NFL DB's for LSU were basically very talented and Raymond didn't do any real coaching. It's a head scratcher.

 

You wonder if those 2 didn’t take to a younger guy being the DC over them. Maybe some egos.

Absolutely a possibility. An energetic, young guy comes in and is given the opportunity that 2 very experienced coaches may have coveted. Maybe they resented AA from the get-go.
I’m pulling for Armstrong. He brings some juice and hopefully he’s going to produce results next season.

 

Maybe the communication and everything works better if he has his own guys. But I pray they get someone that can teach tackling.
