although some may disagree, I think we need 15 more practices. Making excuses and saying this would allow them or cause them to not be able to hit the portal is wrong. Both, can happen as we can practice and develop as well as hit the portal. I don’t see this happening as there are many more deserving teams than us

So usf and ucf both have 6 wins to be bowl eligible. Miami has 7 wins. Sad times. It's time to cheer for the basketball teams.

He will easily find the portal oline guys, it’s not an Easter egg hunt, will our boosters buy them is the only thing in question. They will write the checks or we will lose no matter what our coaches do.
The Swamp sold out all year to watch our subpar team play so there are usually close to 90 k that support them even when they’re down. I less fortunate and can’t easily afford to be there or I would have been Saturday. If I thought we had a better shot at winning, I’d still have been there. If I lived closer, I’d be there for every game no matter what. Sure I’m disgusted watching George get manhandled into our qb but I feel bad for him att the same time. He is wearing a gator uniform , trying his best for us and is the best we have at the moment.

The only plus for going to a bowl is the additional practices. This team needs talent acquisition moreso than additional practices. Stay home and keep the class together and work the heck out of the portal.
Sounds like you're already giving the coaches a pass if they don't get their guys in the portal. Sure $$$ is a big factor in recruiting now, but it's not just about money for the top recruits. Coaches/winning programs are still a major factor.
I definitely don’t agree. Coaches are important but they are worthless without the players. Had our coaches done an outstanding job, which they didn’t, we are 8-4 maybe. That’s still crap.
A 3 game difference is a rather negative indictment of the staff. At 8-4, fans would be energized and excited about next year. At 5-7, fans and media are ready to pounce at any misstep and justifiably so imo. Tired of excuses.
