Was the only coach I hoped we'd keep from the Mullen regime. He loved to recruit and was a very good TE coach, IMO.

Wasn't he one of the coaches that stopped recruiting after Mullen was fired?

 

Yeah, Ricky could go Rd 2-4. He had a great season and improved his draft stock. Hopefully he runs well so he could be on the high end of that projection.

They have Pearsall draft ranked as the 21st rated WR. Bunch of WR talent this year.

All I remember is how great a reputation and a recruiter he had prior to coming here and then suddenly all that seemed to stop. I mean I blame Mullen for a lot but I also wonder why coaches that were here always recruited so much better at certain programs...i.e. sunseri here vs at alabama...
