I think he's a good QB. Would be our QB2 immediately and give Lagway some competition.

Wonder if his brother goes with him. He's a stud TE.

FSU might be a likely destination because of his Dad.

 

I think we should go...he is a QB with a lot of moxie and will immediately improve the QB room. Bring his brother as well....

 

Definitely looking to add another one. Did you see our backups at QB for the FSU game? Pretty sure they were both walk-ons.

I would think Miller’s days at UF are done, so that leaves us with Mertz, Lagway, and Brown. We need one more.

It’s strange that the schools don’t give their players the same percentage that the nfl does. Schools keep 100% and then make the fans pay the payroll on top of tickets and the tv deals that we fund also.

 

Max may be looking to play somewhere, not sit.

 

Nah they just give them free education, food, amazing facilities, coaches, nutritional/workout plans etc and the best 4 years of their lives…on top of an audition for the NFL if they’re good enough. CFB was better back then and nobody disagreees

eetz were to go down early in the year, I could see another experienced qb starting and Lagway continuing his package role instead of being forced to start.

 

Johnson has 2 years in college already and is a good QB. I'm not saying DJ may not eventually pass him. But on day one, he'd be QB2.
