Until they turn around and look for the ball we'll continue to get more PI penalties than interceptions by a wide margin.
That seems like a problem but lots of NFL DB's in man coverage never turn around, either. I would say lots of INT's come from 2nd or 3rd defenders in the area of the pass that aren't the primary defender in coverage. We probably need more help or freelancing.
Any DB in the NFL who gets beat often enough because they never turn around won't be in the NFL for long.
Well the average NFL career is like 3.5 years, so, yes, lots of DB's who don't turn around well don't play for a long time, but the fact they make it to the NFL still means they were among the better players in college football.
Completely agree! And we had, not one, but 2 dumb-asses tackle a sliding QB. CBN made some bad play calls, but you just can't coach stupid and we have too many stupid players.
