Can't comment on 2013, but I've never been to any game at Florida Field where I was surrounded by noles, and I mean literally surrounded, beside, behind, and in front of.
War chant didn't start until 1984. All the band did prior was to beat their drums like you'd see in an old western movie. It was still Florida Field in '73.
Pull a Texas on them. Seat them in the top corner of the North End Zone and blast some gangsta rap during their halftime show.
Have been going to our home game with them since 1983..always had to hear their bs chant every time..loud and obnoxious I think the UAA should only allow a smaller version of their band...or seat them outside on 34th..lol Ever since digital ticketing, if you put any of your tickets for sale on those..it doesn't ask whether you are a Gator or nole...I don't sell mine thru there, but unless there is a way to stipulate Gators only..how do you stop it? Only thing I can think of..sell outside of those ticket places ( I do this, so I can screen who my tickets go to) or go to the game or give to Gator friends or family... Had 1 guy that his step dad and his mom..staunch Gators..sat next to me since 1985..his step son and daughter in law...noles..smh..the Gator gave him his season tickets for that game Back to their band..disgusting..wish I had a mute button at the game lol
I was thinking about this a bit just now and came up with an idea. Just the way I think....sort of solution-oriented ideology, I guess. What if we beat the pants off FSU? The football game.....we win it! I mean beat 'em bad...like by 30 -40 points or even more...... Holy cow........can you imagine how satisfying that would be to see the faces on all those FSU band members? I mean....my heart is racing right now just thinking about it! I'm going to fire off a letter to our AD and make this very suggestion. Who knows......maybe it will be just what is needed so we can cope with that dumb rival band showing up in our stadium and playing all that annoying war chant stuff......
I believe someone posted when LSU pulled the same crap that the time between the 3rd and 4th quarter was reserved for the home team band only.

When I look back on the Spurrier or Tebow years I never think, "Wow, the band really made that a special time." Doubt there are many others who do either.
We could return the favor next year when they start playing their hometown band. But, we'd probably get cheered for playing over Creed..
WAS it really their band, or some High School kids performing for them,.....? Since it was an away game and they have that macaroni/ramen budget....... LOL Everything about that school is why it's referred to as 1/2 azz u....... Yah, they won the game, congrats. If my kid was in a band, they would never go to that place to perform in that noise. So cheap, they don't even take the band members on road games..... At least it used to be that way, don't know if it really still is? Just another reason why "It's great to be a Florida Gator!" First Class. The spitting incident is a very bad look, an apology should be made public, but don't even try to talk about all the chit that school has done against us in games..... Dockettgate, swindle, echo of the whistle,........ We ALL know...... GO GATORS!!!!
I was at the game and in the same end zone as their band. They were completely obnoxious from playing right up until our offense got set, trying to play over Won’t Back Down and the incessant droning of that war chant crap. The other thing I don’t like is that we allow their cheerleaders to run on the field with flags after a big play and before the game their drum major planted a spear at the logo. We should allow them to bring a pep band only and leave the rest of their morons at home.
