Right now aTm is the big job open. They have the resources, backing and facilities that every coach dreams of. The right guy can win there immediately, imho. Contrary to reports last night, it won’t be Mark Stoops. Apparently the 12th Man was not thrilled with this possibility. https://247sports.com/Article/how-the-mark-stoops-texas-am-coaching-situation-unraveled-221417103/
I don't blame A&M fans for not wanting Stoops. But now they are talking Dabo and Day from Ohio State...they are setting themselves up for extreme disappointment.
Mississippi State is pursuing Oklahoma OC Jeff Lebby. He is the son-in-law of Art Briles. Also being Kiffin’s former OC would make things interesting in the state of Mississippi.

Add Indiana to the mix just now. Indiana fires Tom Allen: Hoosiers coach ousted after finishing off third consecutive losing season
That's awesome. I hope they spend a fortune on another failure. They deserve it. He'd be a good hire for them for a number of reasons, all of which escape the average jock-sniffing fan.
Dana gets a nice $15mil golden parachute too. Houston fires Dana Holgorsen: Cougars move on from coach after lackluster debut season in Big 12, per report
Texas aTm has nothing. No titles no nothing average and possibly mediocre at best teams. it is the McMansion of college football
Yeah the only way I’m good with something like that would be to add a veteran like Sam Pittman as OL coach. I agree. Dave Aranda at DC maybe, something like that
For the record, this reportedly isn't a done deal quite yet. A&M offered him the job, Elko will make a decision in the next 24 hours. I assume Elko will take the job, but stranger things have happened.
Well my last post didn't age well, now it sounds like Elko agreed to take the A&M job: Sources: Texas A&M, Duke's Elko agree on deal
