I'm sure not focused on that game as much as next week in the ACCCG

I’m always the optimist too but it went down like I expected. They were the better team and we all knew it. That doesn’t mean I’ll pick against our boys or talk shit about them. Keep the positive outlook at all times.

Maybe not the most innovative, but both those teams are extremely well coached. Technique, tackling, desire, etc etc are top tier in addition to the talent.

You're right. I changed my mind. Let Bama beat uga and FSU go undefeated. Give me an undefeated Michigan and Washington too. Uga gets left out of playoff and fsu gets embarrassed in playoff. That may actually be best case.

Not a bad take. Just remember,

this is NOT Zook's version of recruiting. UGa and Bama are the gold standard. We aren't "going there".

He does, he walked on senior day. With Hansen and Bordingham taking over the position and Odom having an injury plagued career, a change of scenery may be needed.

It's been a tough year for all of us, trying to stay positive in light of the games we should have won. I'm looking forward to the off season to see what changes are made to improve the program.
IMO, our playbook is fine. The issue on O we are having is we never keep the pedal to the metal. SOS & Urban both had a great feel for calling plays. CBN has many many good qualities, but his knowing when to keep the momentum and pressure on the other team is lacking.
I understand his process, and i'm all in on it. Hopefully part of the process will analyze why at times we look like a first class O, and other times we are pedestrian. If this is analyzed fairly, he will come to the conclusion he needs an OC.
Hopefully, he also straightens out the OL coaching also.
If we had kept the pressure on after the safety, we would have forced the noles to play catch-up. It would have also given both the O and D confidence. No way the holes would have caught us.

If I may help everyone, it is all SO simple. All it takes is two words. Two words that make it all go away...

I tried heavy drinking during the season and it didn’t work. Actually, it even got me banned from here for a short while earlier this season. Sorry mods :)

Well, this is a nuanced take. Let me explain.

If he is successful at UF, it is because he will have fired himself as play-caller and so he will never call a play again. Any play. But if he gets removed, he may then go back to being an OC at the major college level in order to get another shot instead of going to a Louisiana type program. And so, he will call all the inane calls he wants to.

So, he can call plays, just not for UF. That works for me!

Better defense against a pretty meh QB. I don't see any real production, unless it is from their defense. We shall see.
